Home Movie Day
The Family Movie Day is an open and free event that is held internationally and is organized by volunteers who seek to draw attention to the importance of preserving amateur records, daily and domestic for the value they have for the collective memory and cultural heritage of a country.

We design multi-screen projections, on film support, that are soundproofed and musicized live. We link old advertising, fiction, family, institutional, animated films that are reused in a new narrative and semiotic context to generate new experiences and stories.

Inspection and enhancement project of the Carlos Alonso Fund Nitrates Collection.
Guarded by the National Archive of Image and Word – SODRE, it is made up of approximately 40 film cans. Filmed in various cities and landscapes across the country in the 1930s, in the form of a documentary record. The collection has not been studied in depth so far, therefore, the group intends to carry out an exhaustive technical inspection and photographic record to contribute to the diagnosis of the conservation status of the collection and its preservation.
